Toshiba Proj TV no longer turns on

Early Friday morning, around 2-3 a.m., during the tropical storm, we had a power outage that lasted about 5-10 seconds. When we attempted to turn our Toshiba TP50F60 Proj. TV back on, it would not come on. Instead, the red power indicator light would come on and start blinking a few times, intermittently. However, the TV has not had audio/video since. Is this something that can be easily fixed? If so, would it be practical to call a repairman or would it be best to consider looking for a new TV at this point?
