What do I do with my old TV? Can't Post

I have a Mitsubishi 55" projection TV that is 4 years old (letter box format, HD ready). It will not turn on anymore. I bought a new TV and I called several different charities to donate it but nobody wants it. How can I get rid of it?

Did you try an ad in a local paper (Ex: PennySaver/HorseTrader/CityPaper/ect..)
Sometimes there are hobbists looking for newer stuff to play with, work on, ect.
You can try a local HAM Radio Club, Electronics Club, A local TV Store (I am sure they would take if off of your hands if its HD) they could fix it and resell?
I am sorry, I live on the other side of the States, so I can't get it.
Good Luck, If all else fails, find a local electronic scrap dealer and they may come and get it for a nominal fee...
You can try here (hope it helps)
http://www.electronicsrecycling.org/search/search.aspx
keep recycling, keep it out of the landfills, creeks, streams, rivers and oceans.
Buy and use energy saving devices, oil is going up and so are our energy bills!
Peace!
