? about the extended warranty on TV's Can't Post

Does everybody here buy the extended warranty when they purchase a TV. The TV im looking at is the Panasonic 50" rear LCD. Also is this a good TV. Im curious about the extended warranty, the panasonic has a 1 year parts and labor.

Ask if the extended warranty covers the projection lamp. If it does and the price sounds reasonable I'd get it. The replacement cost of the bulb is close to $200. They should last about 2 years, but less if the set is watched more. They last about 2000 hours which is 8 hours a day five days a week for a year. if you want an example.
