Mad my rottweiller swung a toy into the screen on my hitachi 51f59 and it cracked the outer screen and seemed to put a crease in the inner because there is now a dark hair line. i have searched and callled many place and have received very little help. Where can i get a screen assembly? and how much is it going to cost? am i better selling the tv with the cracked screen and replacing it with a new one?

go to a local repair shop who will have scrap tv's with good screens you can buy cheaper than new.take the measurements of the screen with you and make sure you know which is which as the screens are not reversible

If I'm not mistaken, that model has a tinted protection screen on it. Both it and the Fresnal/lenticular screens could be very pricey. $400 - 600 easily.
