i have a rca 52" modle p52939 with chasse ptk195s2b the front butons will not work well the power one is the only one the remote workes fine but this is not the worst of it the picture flashes and it does not have sound but the rouster does not flash any clues to the problem i realy want to fix it but i do not have much knoledge with the big screens i manly worked on connsoles and table tops but this one is mine and realy want to fix it i have the knowe how of how to do the work just lost on big screens help plz! nova Pirate

Can you take off the front buttons and look at the circuit behind the buttons? Does this buttons on the circuit work? If those buttons on the circuit do work, just replace the button cluster on the front (237680). If those buttons on the circuit don't work, then replace the circuit (239125). I have those parts in stock, if you want: BobbyK@bursmaelectronics.com Since the remote works, it should be a problem with the front panel circuit or buttons.

but that isn't the main problem the screen is flashing black and no sound this is what my mane worry Unsure

check for liquid leak on the board & also for a arking CRT

it a good chance that crt fliud has got on the maine pcb broad. yur micpracesr is bad this happ a lot with
this set a work at Quakertv. as a tech. i do sony samsung phillips.and dlp/lcd.dss.ant what it tack to make a buck.

iv moved and just got back in to the swing of thing their is no leacks and the tv works fine when i pluged it in after the move but only for a hour and a half and did it again ? i think the control board is going out any ideas?
