Magnavox MWD2206A Doesn't read DVDs	Can't Post

When I load a disc, disc spins at high speed then stops. Menu indicates no disc and sometimes says that possible that the disk may not be set up for reading. The disk plays okay on other machines. Any ideas?

more than likely the laser is not reading the disc
