Odd Toshiba problem

Odd Toshiba problem	Can't Post

I have a Toshiba HDA2 player. All is fine (it is a bit sluggish of FF though) except that I have just discovered that when I play Last of Mohegans (not HD) the image is contained in a letterbox that fills only 2/3 of the screen. Does not happen with any other disk (yet).

I upgraded to the current firmware release last night and the same thing happens.

Any thoughts?

look on the DVD box .on the back you will see the format ie 1.8:1 or 2:1 etc. the bigger the first number the smaller (height) the picture will be. <br>

You miss my point. The proportions are correct. It is simply too small all around for the screen, by a lot.

its odd to be small width as well as height.usually only height if the film was recorded in letterbox format.I will look on the tosh. tech web site for any relevant info and repost.
