Symphonic WF 802 DVD/VCR

I have a symphonic DVD/VCR player and has stopped playing DVD's . When a DVD is placed in the tray and the tray is closed a message comes up on the TV saying the DVD has no info on it. and the display on the player says "load". A friend says I should get "reset codes" off the internet. I have not found anything yet . HELP!
