Symphonic WF 802 DVD/VCR	Can't Post

I have a symphonic DVD/VCR player and has stopped playing DVD's . When a DVD is placed in the tray and the tray is closed a message comes up on the TV saying the DVD has no info on it. and the display on the player says "load". A friend says I should get "reset codes" off the internet. I have not found anything yet . HELP!

I am having the same problem with a very new symphonic dvd/vcr player. Any ideas or should I just pitch it in the trash?

I also have a Symphonic DVD/VCR combo player. I get about an hour into a DVD and then the DVD won't play past that point. I watch X-Files episodes on DVD and I can watch the first episode and then half of the 2nd...then it just locks up - AARRGGHHH!!! I got the thing for Christmas, so therefore I don't have a receipt & can't find anyplace selling the darn thing. I would love to buy a new one and then return the defective one.

I had the same problem until i just got so pissed that i hit the top of the dvd player and now it works perfectly...with a little dent in the system here and there!! Wink
