Re: [Guest] dead Sony DVP-NS315 [In reply to] Can't Post

I have a similar problem with the same model of DVD player Sony DVP-NS315, but the component damaged is apparently a Relay, Voltage Regulator or don't know. It's position is IC101 and it is located by the side of the small transformer, it has a screw with a heat disipation plate welded to the board.
I propose I check on my board your diode D212 and you check on yours the IC101.
I don't have the board here at hand now, but tomorrow I will check it and find out which part number for cross reference is your diode.

I'll greatly appreciate if you can help me too.

Thanks

Re: [Guest] dead Sony DVP-NS315 [In reply to] Can't Post

As wrote yesterday, I found your diode D212, it has the code 33B written on the bottom.
I checked and found it on Rohm's website:

www.rohm.com

or follow the next link:

http://www.rohm.com/products/databook/di/pdf/rlz_series.pdf

It belongs to RLZ series, and you can find it as 33B part number.

Can you help me now with IC101?

I'll be waiting for your response.

Thanks
