Power up a converter box with no remote Can't Post
Hi guys: i have here a DTV Converter Box Magnavox TB100MW9 that found in the dumpster and i don't have the remote control,i have a few universal ones,but i need to power up the converter box in order to try one of these universal remotes that i have,i'm only getting the yellow standby light on the box when I hook it up. How do I get the green light to work,what component inside can i touch to ground so i can power up the box? thanks

You MUST have a remote to power up box! Has a "main" power toggle to put it in standby, then remote turns On/Off.
