Hello everyone,
I am looking to purchase my first 3d tv. Could anyone please give me a list of the best 3d tv's size 55 to 60 inches.

I just went to the store to do some looking myself as I have been asking the same question. I was looking specifically at 55 inch TV's so I hope I can be of some help. My ultimate favorite is Samsung's top tier F8000. I found a lot of info here about it: http://reviews.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/...msung-un55f8000.html. I think you'll find the review pretty thorough. I did.
My next step down would probably be the Panasonic ST60. It is a plasma so you know you are going to get great picture quality. The 3D is a little dimmer due to the lack of brightness in plasma TVs. Both are active 3D. It is so much cheaper than the Samsung too, so if price is a concern go for this one. Both have pretty good 3D for what they are.
The LGs have some great passive 3D if you want to go that route. Start with the 6900 series if you want to go with them.
