Can I Get Streaming Video OK With This Setup? Can't Post

I am currently a cable internet customer and want to set up streaming video capability in my apartment, hopefully with certain in-place components. (I have a pretty tight budget). Here is my setup:

I have a cable internet drop via a Zoom cable modem in my bedroom, connected to my desktop PC, running under Windows 7. The cable internet service has a connection capability of 25 Mbps, with 2.2 Mbps upload speed. I have a Tenda Dual Band N600 Gigabit Wireless Router attached to the Zoom cable modem.

I don't want to view movies on my PC!

In the living room, I have an XBox 360, 60 GB HDD, and an LG 39" LED TV (39LN5300)--it's not a Smart TV, BTW.

I want to watch the streaming video in the living room, on the LG 39" LED TV, via the XBox 360. I prefer not to activate the living room cable drop, as that's an extra monthly charge.

Thanks for any feedback!

So you currently ONLY watch the XBox 360 in the LG 39" LED TV?

Roku? wifi to Roku - HDMI to tv
OR
Shortest length HDMI - PC to tv Stream with PC watch with tv.

No, I view the XBox 360 on a separate Auria 23' LCD monitor; the XBox is for gaming only.

Reason for confusion.

So then the LG is currently in the living room with nothing connected to it and you enjoy watching hours of blank gray or blue screen, assuming the set does not have a auto shut off with no input feature?Wink

The LG TV is connected to a DVD player; I rent DVDs from Netflix. The LG TV also has an indoor antenna connected to it.
