Dark Shadows on Samsung 55" LED HD TV

Over the past few months, we have noticed shadows across the top of the display. This occurs on any input and usually more pronounced with a light screen, e.g., outdoor scene, clear sky, etc. We purchased this brand new in March of 2015. Resetting or adjusting the picture does not change this.
