Default Volume	Can't Post

I have recently purchased a Hitachi 26" (66cm) LCD HD television which I am largely happy with. However, I live in a flat with very thin walls and, whenever I have to volume turned down to 16 or less and switch the set off, it returns to 20 when switched back on? I have scoured the manual to no avail and contacted Hitachi who tend to ignore you once they've got your money (whatever happened to good old fashioned "service") 'cause its been 3 weeks and 3 e-mails - nothing!
Can anybody advise please or, if you're a Hitachi engineer/employee reading this, your company needs a cattle prod up the jacksie! Thank you.

Try the salesperson where you purchased set. If he doesn't know, he MAY be able to find out if what you want to do is possible.

I got it from Argos. They're like a lot of these companies, they know absolutely "zip" about the products they sell but thanks for your suggestion and time, it's appreciated, thank you.
