Direct TV HD DVR Can't Post

I just got (leased) an new Direct TV DVR (5 LMB Capable), and am trying to hook it up to my PC tuner. There are no coaxial outputs (only composite and HDMI). Does anyone know how I might go about hooking this up to my PC. My tuner card only has inputs for coaxial and s-video. Also, on the back of the receiver there is an ethernet and USB port, but the tech said that was just for use "down the road" and not currently for use.

Can anyone help?

Winky, it's clear to you that none of your available inputs are matched. I believed what your tech said. Ethernet and USB port is not active unless, you call direct tv for that option. Then they may send you a software for your pc.

Why do you want to connect the box to your pc tuner? Is it to offload recordings and burning it to DVD? If so try taking out the drive and copying it to your pc's hard drive.
