HDMI PS3 Noob help Purchase Q's. Can't Post

Ok, i dont really know much about TV's but im going to get a Playstation3 and i since ive actually saved up a good amount of cash to get a PS3 and a nice TV. I dont really watch Cable, just movies (on DVD, soon BD), so i want to maximize my PS3. I wanted to find out what to get. I have ~$1000 (perfer lower then)for a TV w/ HDMI support. I dont know much about HDMI, or HDCP (which i might need for future Blue-Ray movies). So can anyone make any recomendations as to what TV i should look into? Also will i need cables of sort? Where to get, not to get a TV? Anything i should know about HDMI tv's? How to get the best quality i can out of it?

is anything HDMI 1.3 yet? How would i tell if something is or isnt yet?

Im looking for something over 30" with HDMI, and as high res as possible..

I can give you some help- HDCP is the copy right protection, without HDCP you can't view some video content.

As for dvd viewing, if you are looking into HD DVDs a set that does 1080p will give you the best picture quality. The dvd player can up convert to 720p 0r 1080i for other HD sets.
