Insignia NS-L32x-10A weird picture?

i recently bought an insignia ns-l32x-10a and used it for gaming on a ps3 and looks great but when i put a movie into my ps3, the picture quality is really odd. It seems like everything is in perfect focus and looks almost like you used a camcorder to tape it. i'm not really sure how to describe it other than it is really weird. the only possible solutions i have found is lowering the sharpness all the way, but it is still noticeable. has anyone else had this problem? and is there a way i can make it look like normal movies?
