Is the LG Brand a Good TV	Can't Post

I'm looking at a 37" LCD HDTV made by LG. It has a built in HDTV digital video recorder. Does anyone know anything about the quality of the LG brand widescreen LCD TVs?

Here is a link to owners of LG 30 FS4D ( direct view set ), which should give an idea of any problems or how happy they are with the LG brand

Lg sells all different appliances under the LG brand and not just Tv's.
They would not be in the top 5 of brands I would consider for a HD set.

Be aware that LG backup service leaves a lot to be desired and also their service manuals quite often bear no resmblance to reality making it a nightmare to repair or obtain spares
