LCD vs Plasma
I am thinking of getting a new TV, but dont know which one to get. Im looking into at least a 50 inch. My Room is 20x20 so it good size. i have a sectional couch so you watch the TV from a slight angle sometime. I also play alot of 1st person shooter games on the X Box. any advise would be great

Go with LCD, they use less power than Plasma and they are easier and cheaper to keep repaired when that day comes.

Check out some of the new LED TV's. They are great! Compare some of these types of TV's to the Plasma and LED before purchasing. Some of the LED TV's take less power, thinner, have built in apps like a Smart Phone, ability to connect wirelessly to the internet via a router, and the picture quality is amazing on some of them. I agree with repairman. You should go with LCD, it use less power than plasma. It’s always low maintenance and easy to use.
I am also using LCD at my home.

Re: [Johan Arthur] LCD vs Plasma [In reply to] Can't Post

I took a long time to test and view plasma vs lcd and in the end the PLASMA delivered everything a picture required. The LCD failed on fast parts cause it slightly digitally blurred & LCD had issues doing HAIR, perfect circles. On the Plasma it was flawless hair, circles, & during super fast scenes where the dinosaurs all started to run left and right. Anyways i think LCD for it's price and HYPE still has a long ways to go before being REAL picture worthy of HD. Plasma I think is already true Resolution and it's only weakness is it's grainy quality but that vanishes if you are at least 7 ft away.
