RCA L26HD35D will not eject DVD

Hi all....brand new here and have the following problem:
RCA L26HD35D with built in dvd player will not eject the dvd..it makes noise, but nothing happens. Anyone any tips or tricks to help me with this issue? It does not have a tray....so there's no little hole for a paperclip, the dvd slides in from the side.
