I posted this in the TV Repair section of this site and thought that maybe I should post it here under the HD TV Forum.
I need to replace the cracked display on a Samsung UN40H6400 3D TV. My question is what type of adjustments need to be done? Will I be able to do this? What would probable cost be if I took it to TV repair business to do adjustments?
I have checked costs of a display panel and it would be about $480 but that would be my total cost for a $987 TV so it seems worth the effort. If there are adjustments to be made and they are too difficult for me to do then cost of having them made may kill project. Does anyone know the answer to my question here?
