Samgsung 1080p LCD issue (LN46a650) Can't Post
I've had this tv for just over a year (just long enough for the samsung 1 yr warranty to expire). My tv now shuts off and reboots itself many times rendering it useless. Samsung tech support is absolute crap. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty from Best Buy which I usually never do.

Geek squad came out today and said they would have to replace the t comm board or main board...

Thoughts?

They are quite right but why worry if it will be done for nothing?

That is like the same thing that happened to my old Samsung TV and since warranty was done I ended up buying a new.

Would anyone share how that issue happens?

I have nothing to say except " Samsung flatscreens will impress you with quick decision, Qualitywise???????? geek squad or bestbuy is nothing but a retailer, a money making company. Nobody in their staffing knows what happen to your tv. You got fooled once, don't let it fool you twice. it's not going to do you any better or your tv.
