Sanyo 20" Flat Screen Input Question Can't Post

I have a question about the video input of this TV. It says that it has Component Video Input (Y-Pb-Pr / R-L)
Five -connector input takes advantage of DVD and other high definition signal sources. Video signal is divided into three separate elements; red, blue and luminance( image brightness). Superior to both composite and S-video because it delivers a quality picture with great resolution, better color accuracy and less color bleeding. Does that mean if I hook up my Xbox 360 to it and I use the High Def cables that it would look better than if I just plugged it into the regular video input?

Yes the component video is better than just a single video input.

so when i hook it up would i plug the yellow input in, or no because white and red are going into my surround sound, but it seems if i plug the yellow one in it would defeat the purpose.

Component video are red, blue and green inputs.
Red and White are left and right audio inputs.

So you should connect all 5 at one time.
