TV that I can control channels over wifi

Hello
I am in the market for a new TV for my mother who suffers from dementia, the reason I mention the disability is so that you get a better understanding of my requirements. I would like to be able to control the channels she is watching from a remote location (60 miles away) both houses have access to the internet. My mother really struggles with controls even the Flipper one that has very limited buttons still it can take us up to 15 minutes to switch channel over. Ideally I would be able to switch the channels over for her from my house so that she can watch programs that she might be more interested in, i.e. when football is on we need to switch channel otherwise she gets bored and starts to wander.
Other requirements are that it is no larger than 42", apart from that it's free reign.
Is there anything available on todays market that can help me achieve this with minimal effort?
