VCR Records black and white no sound	Can't Post

My VCR is recording in black and white with no sound. It must be something due to the way I have hooked it up, but I don't know. It is a Sharp HD 32"TV and a Toshiba W528 VCR with a digital cable box. ANyone got any thoughts?

How do you have it hooked up to the cable box and TV?
