Vizio No channel up or down with remote	Can't Post

Tv ia a vizio vx37 hdtv,slow to power on with remote and will not change channels with remote or with buttons on tv, every thing else works fine. any ideals any one? thanks.
ps: can change channels by entering numbers with remote.
