What hdtv should i get? Can't Post

Not sure on the forum rules n stuff here so if this is in the wrong place or wrong for some reason tell me.

Ok so for xmas im thinking for buying a tv.
All i care about in a tv is HD capabilities, and how big the screen is.

So lcd plazma w/e doesnt matter.

Looking for something between like 1k and 1.6 maybe 1.7k that would be stretching it alot.

So what do you guys think the best tv for me would be. Something thats as big as possible has at least 2 hdmi ports and preferably 1080p

Found a 60" tv on amazon for like 1.5k but didnt see anything about hd so idk.

Or if some one could tell me whats a good site to look on tvs for that would be good too.

Sorry for long post, messy grammar, and thanks a bunch.

Would you like the best, not everyone has? start shopping here: > www.pricejapan.com don't try to stretch or else you will end up like everyone in this forum.

DLP's will give you more screen size for the money than plasma or flat screen LCD.

There is no perfect HD tv set out there. Everyone has it's own quirks about it.

DLP's have bulbs that burn out and to replaced (can be replaced by owner very easily )
Plasmas can get burn in from gaming
LCD's flat panels are more expensive, LCD RP ( Sony ) also have bulbs that can burn out.

Just look at your local A/V store and pick the one that looks the best to you. You are the one watching it everyday. I would try non big name A/V shops ( Joe's A/V shop ) to see what the set does when connected to local cable or sat.
