Are power supply standby voltage(s) and turn on voltage present?

If so, then what, if any other PS sources come up (AND do they remain up?)?

Hi jts1957
I don't have a multimeter to test the voltages. Also my skills and knowledge in this area are limited.
If you mean is there power then yes...the red led light shines up. When you press the standby button to turn the tv on the red led light dims.

The plug-in connectors have short labels associated with many of their pins. Being able to read these would be helpful (badcaps pix not angled or focused onto).
You may also wish to peruse youtube videos on how to use a DVM, how to test various components, etc. It's really not that complicated provided you can follow some common sense rules.
Obtaining various voltage readings is just the start.

I had the meter on the wrong settings....lol apologies. Below are the correct voltages when in stby.

Hi jts1957

When I turn the tv on its in auto in standby. I get 11.5v on 3 pins and on 2 of them voltage doesnt stay up. I also get 25.5v in 2 places (+12vL) and these also don't stay up. The only voltage to stay up is the +5vstby which shows a constant 11.5v.

when I press the stby button on the remote I get a constant 25.5v in the +12vL pins. I also get a constant 11.5v at the 5vstby pins.

hope this makes sense. I have a picture showing all the voltages but I don't know how to put it up.

Frown

A quick butt-in-ski;...

For jts1957's benefit;...

What are you using for ground when you take the voltage readings ???

If you can , copy & paste pix in reply box....
Or post a link to the pix & we'll go there...

Good Luck...Sly...

Needn't start a new thread each time your original one dies.

I think that having a standby LED lit and 11.5VDC (instead of 5VDC) as your stand-by are probably incompatible, most likely due to your unfamiliarity with electronics in general, how to use a DVM and where to position ground lead of same.

I assume (having lost my x-ray vision) that excluding the top two pins, the 10 remaining pins having only 6 labels means some use 2 adjacent pins.

What's BL_ON doing when the set is turned on?

there is no power on BL_ON when the set is turned on. Those are the only voltages coming up when out of stby shown in the pic.

If +12VL toggles up and down at your command (and stays after YOU command the set to turn on, but BL_ON doesn't, I'd suspect the Control/Main board. However without service manual ...

I can control +12vL up and down, but I don't get any voltage on the BL_ON pin whether I turn the set On or OFF.
Unless I'm doing it wrong...? <br>
