42in VIZIO problem Can't Post

Hey all, I just bought a new 42in LCD HDTV VIZIO (Model: VU42L) and I'm having a little problem already.
I plugged the TV in set up the cable, xbox, etc, and it was doing fine until it was on for about 15 min. Then out of no where the screen just shut off. The funny thing is that it is only the screen, I can still change channels etc I just cant see anything. I turned it back off and back on and it keeps doing it. It seems though that the longer its off the longer it stays on. Im thinking its a heating problem? Does anyone know what the problem could be? Probably calling VIZIO would be the best move?

Did you unplug from the wall outlet for a minute or two and plug back again?
these chinese vizios are cheap for some reason.
