47lx196 Toshiba no picture sound Ok	Can't Post

Picture goes off after an hour, sound ok,
turn off and back on
stays on only 15 minues, sound ok
turn off and back on, few minutes on ok,
then seconds on ok, then nothing
3 years old.
Is there anything you can suggest?

you need to look in the back to see if the backlights are going out when the fault occurs. if so the fault is either the inverter board or the screen (lights are built in). Either way 3 years is a pretty good life for a flat screen tv.
