My 15" lcd monitor keeps shutting off and on: plz advise on how to troubleshoot or what to change?

Open up and look for pregnant electrolytic capacitors.

Either take your known good "CCFL test bulb" (or commercial bulb substitution jig) and sub for each bulb in your set - OR - take your known good "inverter/power supply" (or commercial inverter substitution jig) and plug your sets bulbs into it.

i trashed it. i didnt have any test bulbs or p/s
