Happened suddenly.
Have changed the Main Controller board: YCR190R-3 from eBay. ( Is it likely that two boards would have identical faults when Googling doesn't find this problem? )
Have checked the SCART lead, DVD player and DVDs on another LCD TV - all is OK there.
Note the colours on TV Menu are good and clear, (watch whole movie ).
It's the smearing on 'normal' movies that is bad.

first, sorry my english.

your problem is tcon board or panel. i think not need repair motherboard. if you vish i send software update program maybe fix it.,

Not the same tv, I think. Your pictures do not match the panels I have.
Also have swapped out the TCON board without resolving the problem :(

Two sets of numbers on rear panel:
Y1V0000000 SN 81200328
10854812003288
Not clear from label which is actual serial number.

Television is the first opening in the panel is damaged in this manner. :(

Cool open the tv and look display. if first open screen is flu your panel die.

if first open screen is good your tcon die.

did not need to look for trouble becouse you changed tcon then Panel is die.Unsure
