Decreasing lag and blur

Hello,
I just bought this tv http://www.envisiondisplay.com/...ts&SMenu=l26w761
and when I play xbox, there is a serious lag from the controller to the tv and a slight blur. I was under the impression 8ms was a decent enough response time. Is there anything I can do to decrease the lag?
Also I eventually plan to use this as a monitor, will i experience the same delay and blur when i hook it up to my computer?
