LCD picture dark in the middle

I have a 32" toshiba LCD . The picture is dark in the middle of picture . I removed the display panel and exposed the ccfl to see the lamps when its on . They all light up on the ends about 5" towards the middle on each side . Haven't seen this problem yet and i think it may be one of the inverters as it employs two . I have read that it could be a loose ccfl and that checks ok . I have read that one of the ccfl could still be bad or one of the inverter would be my problem . I do not have a service manual for this model 32AV500U . Has anyone seen this problem or have any ideals on what to check next ? Thanks for your time .

That can't be normal. Lamps that light up normally will light all the way across. Sounds like one or more are bad.
