LG 50LN5600-UI Sound but no image	Can't Post

I have a 50" LG that has sound but no image. When I start it up, the LG logo comes on for a fraction of a second but then I get a dark screen. If I shed light to it, I see the image is there in the background but not visible to eye really. Where do I start???

This models is HIGHLY susceptible to LED failure. What may seem like a power supply failure may be caused by the failure of one or more LEDs inside the panel (screen).

Power Supply / LED driver.

I'd find a way to observe the LEDs (which provide screen 'backlighting'). http://www.shopjimmy.com/...strips-12-strips.htm
