LG RZ-32LZ55 screen rolling when cold

Hi I have a 32 inch 6 year old Lg Tv that has been acting strange for around 16 months now , When i turn it on the screen rolls really fast as if the V-Hold buttons been ajusted like you could do on the old pc screens Anyway this will clear up and slowly roll slower and slower untill its near enough 100% , my question is is it worth repairing and what do is the most common reason for thsi fault ?i have repaired smaller things in the past such as game consoles but never yet opened up a tv as ive heard horror storys about how wrong it go if you touch the wrong thing!,The tv is in my bedroom now so gets little use, So to repair or to Discard whats your thoughts thanks in advance
