LG TV - glimmering effect on HD channels?

Just purchased a LG 49UH850 TV. There maybe some kind of fault with the TV so I am looking for advice.
The TV has 2 tuners, terrestrial aerial and satellite (freesat). The freesat picture quality is excellent. However, when using the terrestrial Ariel the HD channels have a glimmering type of effect, patterned clothing is flashing, peoples hair looks like they have grey streaks. The SD channels are fine though.
Could this be some kind of fault with the TV?
