Length from TV and Quality Can't Post

Hi, I'm planing on buying a 26" LCD HDTV (720p) and I am going to sit 9 ft. away... Will this look good or will quality be low?

Re: [SaneBloodwolf] Length from TV and Quality [In reply to] Can't Post

measure from the screen position to where you will sit in inches. divide the result by 1.5 for HD or 2.5 for SD and voila! you have the best screen size. so 9ft= 108 inches, divide by 1.5 =72inches max. you may find 26" is a bit small if all your programs are in HD but if its 50/50 37/ 42" would be a good compromise.Dont forget to buy Panasonic for best picture quality and reliability and never buy anything with weird names you have never heard of.
