POLOROID MODEL TLA-01911C LCD TV	Can't Post

I have a Polaroid lcd tv the power sores for the florescent back lights is burnt out
is there, is there anything I can use to power the back lite It dosnt have to fit in the case

Replaced both bulbs it comes on for a few seconds then goes black if yo hold a flash lite
up to it you can see the picture, I contacted Polaroid they told me they were not selling parts or schematics,
and they will not repair it even if i pay for it. but they would replace with a re manufactured one,
if I pay $150 and the old set. I have alot of lap tops for parts,
theirs got to be a way. any help at all would be appreciated Thank you Bill

welcome to the world of flat screen repairs. most have no spares available so cut your losses and dump it.

Thank you very much for the info, but my model was not listed, im going to take it apart again and get the # off the board and try searching the site that way regardless the site will come in handy in the future THANK YOU Bill <br> ps is there any kind of external source I can use, just to jury rig it, I dont care how ugly it is . lol thanks again
