Hello,

I would like to know if my picture settings on my Sharp Aquos T.V. are set the way they are like this I can get the most out of my H.D. T.V. Right now they are:

Backlight:+12
Contrast: +32
Brightness: +10
Color: 0
Tint: 0
Sharpness: +1

The model number is: LC-42D62U

hi, Understand one thing! The reason they have an adjustments are all due to your viewing pleasures. It doesn't matter how you want it. However, if you are viewing all HD CONTENT then, You might as well set it back to the original factory settings. Otherwise, settings are according to your taste. Enjoy while you can! Perhaps you want another model / maker next year or two. You should max sharpness to +32 and reduce the contrast halfway 0 - + 10 , brightness definitely halfway which is 0 along with the backlight. take care! you're doing fine!
