Sanyo CE26LD08-B TV Updates	Can't Post

Got this old LCD TV to replace my Panasonic which need repairs.
As Sanyo no longer exists as a TV manufacturer, is it still possible to update software on this?
I note there is a USB port but this doesn't seem to do anything useful.

If your Sanyo TV won't turn on you need to reset it. Unplug your TV and wait a full 60 seconds. While the TV is unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After the 60 seconds are up, plug your Sanyo TV back in and it should work.

Thanks but the problem isn't that the TV won't turn on.
It is to do with updating channels to get more, or new, stations.
I suspect because Sanyo no longer exist, Panasonic (who took over the company) don't provide these. updates.
