SAMSUNG LNS4695D LINES IN PIC	Can't Post

I HAVE A SAMUNG LNS4695D MFG.DT NOV. 2006. SMALL RED DOTS BEGAN TO APPEAR IN WHITE SPOTS ON SCREEN 2-3 WEEKS AGO AND NOW HAS VERTICAL (AND SOME TIMES HORIZ) LINES ACROSS ENTIRE SCREEN. I HAVE READ ABOUT CAPACITOR PROBLEMS AND REM'D. BACK TO LOOK, SAW NO BULGING. CAN ANYBODY HELP BEFORE I SHOOT MY TV?

Just because the caps aren't bulging doesn't mean that they aren't bad. They can cause the symptom that you are getting, but if replacing the caps do not fix . . .I would go with a 500 Mag hand cannon Pirate

Thx for the input. Most of what i'm reading online re:caps is power up issues. Should all caps be replaced? Is there away to test caps on the board? I was really wanting to put 30) 762x39 in it.

Yes you can check caps with an ESR meter. I would probably replace the whole group in the upper right corner of the power supply.

I REPLACED 5) 1Kuf 10v caps ( w/25v) ($6.27). IT HAS MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE, BUT NOT PERFECT. I MAY REPLACE ALL CAPS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS, THANKS.
