Samsung LCD TV with wavy, distorted right side sometimes Can't Post

I have a 2008 Samsung 52"LCD TV (LN52A850S1FXZA) that usually shows a good picture, but occasionallydisplays a distorted, frozen or wavy pattern on the right side for a few minutes. Then it displays good again. Occasionally the distortion will come back for a few minutes, then go away again. When it returns to a good display the distortion gradually recedes. I had the capacitor issue for that model resolved (they replaced the board) and I have replaced the master and slave inverter boards with no change. I've posted some photos of the problem:

How likely is it a bad tcon? Or something else?
Thanks!
