Sony KDL-52W4100 Lines in screen Can't Post

I have a Sony TV that has picture and sound but the picture has lines in it. I've ran diagnostics on the TV and it comes back with no errors. I've reseated all the cables and cleaned and reseated the ribbon cables on the TCON board. I want to know if this is a bad LCD screen or if one of the boards is causing it. It started as a single line but has grown into several. I don't know how to add photos of the screen.

I went in and started changing the screen settings and defaulted the TV settings. When I went into the Time and Day the screen appeared normal for a few seconds then went back with lines, so now I don't think it is the screen. I've been checking some other forums and one had pictures of what my screen initially looked like (small lines, about 1/6 horizontal length on screen in various places. Now some have grown to look like a barcodes and lines over the picture.) That site said the TCON board fixed their problem. I have been trying to figure exactly what the TCON board does but so far have not had much luck.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

TCON may refer to: a timing controller, an electronics subsystem
