Here in Sweden all analog channels are shut down and replaced with digital channels (that is good!). But the sad thing is that all tv operators now want us to buy an external tv-box (often bundled with card) that is needed to decrypt their channels.
So... my question is really: Why would I want to buy a TV with:
1. Built-in tuner? (I will not use it since all channels come from the box)
2. Remote? (not needed since channels and audio is controlled from box)
3. Speakers? (I use my 5.1 surrondsystem instead)
I guess I really just want an 55" screen (monitor). And it should become cheaper since the 3 things above is excluded.
So is there an option for me out there? Can an ordinary TFT screen do the same job?
Is there an TV manufacture that HAS made a tv like this?
