Toshiba LCD TV wont turn on

I have a Toshiba 32DT2U 32" LCD TV that I believe may have suffered a power surge. When I plug in the TV the green power light comes on like when you turn it on, but it has no picture or sound. I pulled the back off and checked for the normal items (blown caps or burnt spot on the boards). Any ideas on what I can look for as to what may be wrong? Thanks in advance for any input.
