Using an LCD TV Outside Can't Post

Can anyone give me some tips here. I mounted my 23" LCD TV on an outside wall under my patio. Its out of the elements but I have been told it could suffer from condensation. I have been covering it with a heavy plastic bag to protect it. So far no problems. I also heard you should leave it turned on at all times to control condensation? Someone told me to just put in aux mode where no picture is being shown but the tv is on. can anyone validate these ideas or give me some other tips. I want it to last a few years.

No matter what the current conditions, DO NOT COVER THE UNIT WHILE ITS STILL HOT, LET IT COOL BEFORE COVERING. You shouldn't leave it in aux mode assuming it can resist condensation while covered. IT IS NOT!....MAKE SURE TO COOL OFF COMPLETELY AND LAY A DRY TOWEL on top, AND THEN THE PLASTIC.

Thank you for your comments. I would assume if I kept in AUX mode I would not cover it at all. thanks for the towel suggestion.
