Vizio VL470M mostly white screen

Hello! I have a Vizio VL470M. Powers on just fine but, the bottom 2/3 or the screen is white (with a few lines here and there) and top 1/3 works fine. This model has 2 ribbon cables coming from the main board to the screen. If I remove the left ribbon cable, then the entire right side of the screen works fine. If I remove just the right ribbon cable, then the left side works about half way down. And if I remove both cables, the screen is solid white and I don't see any cracks. So, I know the problem is on the left side. I just don't know if it's something in the lcd itself, the boards that the tabs are connected to or the main board. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
