Hello all: Recently found an abandoned lcd tv and put it on my bench. Unit did nothing when I pressed power so I disassembled and found many blown caps on the power supply inverter board. Ordered new board and installed. My problem is with the ribbon that I had to disconnect from the pcb that has all the buttons, power, channel up etc. When I disassembled I assumed that this ribbon would snap into place but it doesn't. When I try to assemble the tv the ribbon falls out of the socket and it doesn't fit all that securely anyways. My question is am I doing something wrong when assembling or is their a trick a non tv repairman needs to learn to get this thing back together? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
