Which size should i get? Can't Post

Hello,

I'm looking for a new LCD tv for my living room, but unfortunately I don't understand really too much about it. Yesterday I went to a mall and I was especially impressed with the new Philips tvs with the new Aurea light technology. But before that, I'm completely confused regarding the size that I need, Basically the TV will be 9 to 10 feet from the couch and a friend told me that 37" would be enough, but I was thinking more towards 42 or even 46" (budget is of course another issue).
I found a few resources online like http://www.lcd42.co.uk/...he-right-lcd-tv-size and like this one http://tvonwall.com/PickingtheRightTV.html but I think that I'm only more confused right now, I mean, If I'll get a bigger TV than what they recommend am I going to feel one day that it's just too big? What do you think?

Thanks.

Cut out a cardboard representation of the "set" and see what it looks like on the wall or table/stand you'd plan on using.
I know "It looks like a cardboard cut-out," but it may give you some idea.

here's the thing! I don't think you are confuse to what size or viewing distance and all and what not. The truth is:> you are not ready with the CASH.

only buy philips if you can put up with trouble and grief for the next few years. and only go bigger screen if you watch in HD or you will be annoyed by the motion blur you can see from 9 feet away.

Sound like a good plan Cool It will definitely give me an idea.

I think 32" is way too small, don't you think?
Of course I prefer a smaller TV also as it's cheaper but first of all I'm trying to figure out what would be the perfect size - I don't want to get a 37" and regret after a couple of weeks as it's a bit too small...

thanks

Go big my man. I'd go in for a 42''
